Tuition Reimbursement applications are looked at year-round. You can apply 30 days before the start of class.

Scholarship amounts are based on the decisions of the review committee and prior year fundraising. Awards range from $500 to $3,000 per school year, with $5,000 Legacy and Presenting scholarships also available.

No. Legacy and Presenting scholarship recipients are selected from the pool of qualified scholarship applicants by the Scholarship Review Committee. Recipients are selected based on information from their applications.

Yes, scholarships must be renewed every school year.

You will be notified by EMAIL by the end of June. Make sure your email address is correct. Check your junk/spam for notifications.

No. You can only apply for one or the other in the same school year.

Yes. However, you must meet all the requirements for tuition reimbursement to be considered.

For professionals and employees, we encourage obtaining a letter of recommendation from a current or former manager or supervisor, preferably on official company letterhead.

For dependents, we recommend that letters of recommendation be provided by individuals other than friends or family members, such as teachers, community leaders, mentors, or other professional references.

Only letters of recommendation dated within the two years preceding the current application year will be accepted.

Photos of scholarship recipients are used in AFMA’s marketing materials. We highly recommend submitting a professional headshot.
